This project is comprised of lyrical content that describes the emotional state endured the past 2-5 yrs, which were some of the most intense moments of my life even dating back to 2001 back in Germany during my army days. Difficult times itself is a phrase that is self explanatory. This is a mixed compilation of various tracks I have recorded from 2009 up until as close of a date as yesterday. 3 different mics were used over this time period, Samsung, Berrihnger, and now the Blue Baby Bottle. The intent is for the recordings to sound as authentic as the time frames I recorded the tracks in. Each has it's own unique sound of different emotions I embodied during those times. I honestly feel for me to do the music I'm more known for which is inspirational and such, I needed to purge my system of a lot of the pain I processed and held in during this duration of time I had to journey thru my storm. In the midst of my most intense trials I found myself not feeling musically inclined to do anything with music. I questioned my circle, my wife, family, self, even God... I had my own little Job era so to speak which humbled me. It took a lot of adjusting, and in the midst of adjustments I realized that returning to music and writing and composing and producing was going to be how I pulled myself out of those depths of despair and found that music was truly therapeutic for me. I am a fundamentally sound Christian based artist however, this project will contain lyrical content with profanity and powerful content. As I said these are recordings over periods of time and I am also known for using powerful content but not in such an abusive way as your favorite artist today. In the end each track has multiple messages the main being overcome... No matter how negative the track could sound, understand that all things have a root, and in the verse you will hear the root. You will also hear a way of dealing with the root in certain songs. In a track or two you will hear a prayer. I didn't write any prayers nor scripted anything I said. I'm known for being off the head free styling so to speak. I just go with the flow and dictate the rhythm...
